Game Rules:

1. Rule 1: Prepare to abandon conventional teamwork. In Total Party Kill, sacrificing your fellow adventurers is the core mechanic required to navigate each treacherous dungeon.
2. Rule 2: You control a doomed trio: a robust Knight, a versatile Mage, and an agile Ranger. Only one can reach the exit, meaning the other two must perish to secure passage.
3. Rule 3: The Knight’s strength lies in his sword. Use him to strike allies, propelling their bodies across gaps or onto high ledges to create gruesome stepping stones.
4. Rule 4: The Mage wields freezing magic. He can turn a companion into a solid block of ice, perfect for holding down pressure plates or creating temporary platforms.
5. Rule 5: The Ranger’s bow is deadly. Pin allies to walls with arrows to form makeshift ladders, essential for scaling otherwise impassable vertical obstacles.
6. Rule 6: Success hinges on sequencing your sacrifices correctly. Analyze the room, determine the necessary tools (i.e., corpses), and execute your grim plan with precision.
7. Rule 7: Do not hesitate to restart. Mistakes are frequent in this puzzle-heavy environment, and a swift reset is often the quickest path to finding the correct morbid solution.

FAQ:

1. Q: Are there advanced techniques for corpse placement?

Yes. Mastering momentum is crucial. For example, jumping right before the Knight strikes an ally can increase the distance the body is launched. Similarly, freezing an ally mid-air with the Mage can create platforms in otherwise unreachable locations. Experiment with timing to manipulate body placement effectively.

2. Q: How do I handle complex levels with multiple pressure plates?

Prioritize your sacrifices. Often, a frozen body (created by the Mage) is necessary to keep a switch depressed permanently while you maneuver the remaining character. You may need to use the Ranger to pin a body to a wall, allowing the Mage to climb up and then freeze the remaining character on a higher plate. Planning the order of operations is vital.
